This policy explains how Anthea Horvat (ABN available on request) collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It applies to this website and to the business strategy, coaching and mentoring services offered through it.
What we collect
We collect personal information you choose to give us: your name, email address and phone number when you book a call, subscribe to the Roadmap emails or contact us directly, and information about your business that you share in conversations, calls, audits and coaching sessions. We do not collect sensitive information unless you volunteer it and it is relevant to the work.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, schedule and run calls and sessions, deliver the services you engage us for, send you the emails you have subscribed to, and improve how the practice runs. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make the business run, such as our website and email platform, appointment scheduling, accounting and secure file storage, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job. Some of these providers store data outside Australia; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy law. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat what you share with us with care and keep it only as long as we need it or the law requires.

Access, correction and complaints
You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
